Thanksgiving Day

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is stuffed, happy and thankful. I am definitely thankful for the people that God has placed in my life, for the fact that I am healthy and for the things that are to come. Don’t take the things that you have for granted and be sure to remind those in your life that you love them regularly.

Now lets talk style!

So because Thanksgiving day dinner wasn’t at home this year I definitely wanted to take the opportunity to get a little dressed up, instead of wearing leggings and a t-shirt. This stretchy romper was perfect because it looked as if I put a full outfit together yet it was still super comfty and stylish. One thing that I am really into right now and actually always have been, is shoulder pads! I love shoulder pads the most in the 90s because there was something so elegant yet striking about them during this decade. The key to them now is to modernize them with things that will give them a 2014 feel. For example, these cutout combat boots are very now yet they add the edge needed to complete the outfit!
