When I saw how amazing these pictures came out, I could barely contain myself. Ked @kedtashophe (on IG) did an AMAZING job capturing the essence of a Dominican American woman in Washington Heights, which is kinda part of the project he’s working on and I’m so excited to be a part of! As I’ve started to venture out into more color over neutrals, I’ve come to find out that I actually do enjoy a vibrant outfit here and there. If you know me then you know I’m more of a pop of color kind of girl but wow, what a difference a bright yellow shirt can make. I paired it with these blue/green patterned shorts and a choice of either tan heels or lavender mules for some variety. I love how this outfit can go from day party in the hood to drinks in the city with the girls. I know summer is soon coming to an end in New York but over here we like to stretch it out until the very last second, so here’s to off the shoulder tops and breezy shorts. May you be fortunate enough to rock them all before the summer is gone!
